Rear Brake Rebuild
|
Troubeshooting
- Unable to remove brake caliper mounting bolts:
- These dudes are sometime quite hard to remove especially if they have been in place for many years. You can soak the bolts
overnight with a thread release solvent (e.g., Liquid Wrench, etc.) to help loosen the bolts. You can also try using an
impact wrench if you have one.
- Unable to re-install brake caliper; won't fit over rotor:
- Make sure you compressed the brake caliper's cylinder all the way in. Re-do step 11 in the instructions.
